| Was I ever pissed when I found out that I stayed up til 5 AM writing that AP essay, thinking it was due the next day, and the teacher didn't even know we had the assignment... Yeah, I'm surprised that I'm not lacking a significant number of friends due to murder in a fit of rage, too. Being the ever kind and caring person I am, however, I refrained. The things I do for my friends. Just kidding, love you all, wouldn't dream of killing any of you, only maybe subjecting you to torture for a week or so. The Pilsbury Dough Frog isn't so bad, surprisingly. I just hope she'll contain herself and not do too much bible thumping, speaking of which, apparently my father has found God, ordered a bible, and is now trying to learn more about our faith or whatever. He could also be trying to get some ammo for his theological arguments with his Episcipalian friend, but who am I to judge? Episcopalian is fun to say =] After school yesterday I went to the DMV to get my permit. Right, so I stand in line for two and a half hours, dead on my feet while my aunt sits like a lazyass on one of the benches, and I get to the counter with my non driver's ID and social security card, which is all that stupid little booklet thing says I need, and the stupid bitch tells me it's no good cus I need my birth certificate as proof of birth, while the other person working there is telling her that it's enough because I've got the non driver ID which is sufficient proof of birth as I needed my birth certificate to get it. But, no, the stupid ass says I have twenty minutes to go home to get my birth certificate and come back without having to wait on the line again. What a humanitarian... Long story short: I didn't get my permit and the Yonkers DMV should burn, with most of its employees in it. Enough with my bitchfest, how's everybody else doing? I'm actually looking forward to school tomorrow. And I'm uber happy because I got my kick ass lit teacher, Mr. Z for physics, a nice AP teacher (though she's a little redundant), and the awesome math teacher. And i don't have Sajdak which is just like a gift from Life, even though I now have a nun for Spanish, she's still not Sajdak, so I'm happy. | | |
| Holy fucking shit...apparently I was wrong. School starts tomorrow. And the AP is likewise due tomorrow... And I have the friggin Pilsbury DoughFrog as my homeroom teacher... kill me now. | | |
| wow, i haven't been on here in AGES! not like that really matters as I rarely have anything of importance to say, but oh well. So, I'm officially a big sister, which is totally friggin crazy awesome and really weird, and I'm getting my permit in two days, if I pass the test =]
So, school starts in about four days and I haven't done the work, in typical melissa fashion. And, scary thought, I'm an upperclassmen now and can get away with tormenting the stupid freshmen and sophomores who clog the halls like cholesterol clogs Dr. Phil's arteries with my insanity and random maniacal laughter. Go. Me.
And I'm in AP, which i'm having difficulty deciding if this is a good thing or not, as, it's AP, generally requiring a little thing called effort and I'm, well, me...Enough said. And, yay, Ciara's back from Ireland, and how many sentences have I just breached the major grammar rule in and started sentences with And, and also abused my 'and' privileges. What a bad little Literature geek I am. Tough shit. Later all, much love. I've come to the conclusion that my whacked funky name should be Druggie Non'Druggy. Has a nice ring to it, and is totally 'me' appropriate.
| i am sad no. shit. | | |
| Labyrinth...Good movie, go watch it.
I'm bored, cold, and failing math. Yippee.
And I'm trying to find enough time to read, a mission that I'm miserably failing.
wasn't this a cheerful entry? Here, i'll be happier...
Yesterday I went to the city with Clara and Amber, which was good fun and proved that if I ever had to take the bus on my own, I'd be loster than lost. Yes, I'm well aware of the fact that 'loster' is not a real word and sounds like 'lester' the molester. But, I digress -vocab!- it was fun. We went ice skating for a while, which was a little painful because I apparantly am incapable of lacing skates or they might not have been the right size. I didn't even fall once, though I did come rather close to it. But still, that's pretty impressive, you know...me + not falling... Miraculous. So afterwards, we went to this place, Digby's, which has some kick ass burritos and really fun chairs where you sit at the windows and watch the people walking past watch you eat, which, granted, is a little bit awkward, but can be highly entertaining. Then we went to the disney store where, surprisingly, there were a number of cute boys our age, one of whom was dancing to 'Under the Sea'. That made me happy Love the Chesire Cat! And the day before I went with Ciara and Steve to see 'Bye Bye Birdie' at her school, which, no offense to any koalas out there, kind of sucked. But I think it was just because I didn't like the play. The acting was really good. And it was fun anyway, cus I was being me and making a fool out of myself in my hyper ridiculous way, and Steve joined in, and we had Pop Rocks, which are just fantabulous.
That was my weekend in a nutshell.
See, I'm capable of being pleasant.
Hasta luego, all.
(I'm sorry, but I have to say this...) I HATE SPANISH AND MY TEACHER AND SHE SHOULD GO MOVE TO SPAIN, CONSIDERING SHE WANTS TO SO BADLY AND SHOULD NEVER CONTACT THE UNITED STATES AGAIN! RAWR.
kay, i'm done. over and out.
